* Students will audition individually in the order they arrive, and are free to leave when they have completed their audition.

AUDITION Preparation



Students need to prepare:

a one minute Monologue &

one minute vocal piece of their choice


Audition Materials do not need to be from

the show


Memorization is not required.

A piano accompanist will be provided.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS





WHERE & WHEN ARE REHEARSALS?



Rehearsals will begin on December 1st and will start at 4:00 pm each day. A detailed schedule will be given to each student on the first day of rehearsal. Not every cast members will be called for every rehearsal. It will vary between 1 & 4 times per week depending on role and proximity to show dates.

When are performances?



There will be multiple performances of

CWETA's 2026

production.

PERFORMANCE DATES: FEBRUARY 5-15, 2026


PERFORMANCE LOCATION:

WAUSAU WEST HS THEATER


3 performances will be matinees for school groups. Cast Members will miss 3 mornings of school & are responsible for making up all school work.



Who is eligible to audition?



All students, Grades 4-12, in the Central WI area are eligible to audition.


No Appointment or Pre-Registration is needed. Simply come to any scheduled audition date.



HOW MANY STUDENTS WILL BE CAST IN THE SHOW?



Students make up the entire cast and a large part of the crew. The size of the cast will range between 30 & 80 - lots of opportunities for students.


There will also be other involvement opportunities such as in the pit orchestra or stage crew!
